Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups green cabbage shredded
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons water for steam cooking

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a wok or large frying pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add shredded cabbage and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Sprinkle black pepper and add a splash of water. Stir well and cover for 2–3 minutes until cabbage is tender but still crisp.
  5. Uncover, stir-fry for another minute, then remove from heat.
  6. Serve hot as a healthy side dish.

  • You can add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving for extra freshness.
