Ingredients
  

  • 2 fish fillets white fish about 6 oz each
  • 2 cups spinach washed and chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice optional

Equipment

  • Steamer or large pot with steaming basket
  • Knife and cutting board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon

Method
 

  1. Prepare the steamer or pot with water and bring to a simmer.
  2. Season fish fillets with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  3. Place fish fillets in the steamer basket and steam for 8–10 minutes until cooked through.
  4. In a mixing bowl, toss spinach with olive oil and minced garlic.
  5. Serve steamed fish on plates with garlic spinach on the side.

Notes

  • Light, protein-rich meal ideal for post-fast recovery.
  • Use any firm white fish like tilapia, cod, or haddock.
  • Optional: drizzle with extra lemon juice for brightness.
