This bowl layers a few small additions onto a basic pot of oats — chia seeds and ground flaxseed stirred in while it cooks, then fresh berries and pumpkin seeds on top once it's off the heat and starting to thicken.

Each addition earns its place: flaxseed for a bit of omega-3 support, pumpkin seeds for zinc, and cinnamon mostly for flavor, though it's a welcome touch in a bowl that's otherwise unsweetened aside from a drizzle of honey. Together they make for a breakfast that's filling, fiber-rich, and easy to keep in rotation if you're eating with thyroid health in mind.
