Frozen tart cherries do most of the work here, giving the smoothie a naturally thick texture without needing much ice.

Tart cherries are a fruit often mentioned in connection with sleep-supportive routines, which is why this smoothie is tagged for sleep and stress support, alongside the protein from Greek yogurt that helps make it more filling. A spoonful of honey and a splash of vanilla round out the tartness if you prefer it a little sweeter.

Blend until smooth and pour immediately — it's best enjoyed right away, before or after dinner.

If fresh tart cherries aren't available, the frozen variety works just as well and actually makes for a thicker, colder smoothie. Keep a bag in the freezer so this one is ready to make on short notice.
