No oven, no fuss — just a bowl, a spoon, and a little time in the fridge to firm up. These energy balls are built for the twenty minutes before a workout when a full meal isn't practical.

Oats and peanut butter form a sticky, satisfying base, honey adds quick-digesting carbohydrates for near-term energy, and a scoop of protein powder bumps up the protein content beyond what a typical snack bar offers. Chopped nuts or seeds fold in for a little extra crunch and staying power.

Roll a batch on a Sunday and keep them in the fridge so pre-workout fuel is always one grab away. These freeze well too, so it's worth doubling the batch and keeping half tucked away for weeks when there's no time to mix up a fresh one.
