Papaya has long been a go-to fruit for people watching what they eat around a sensitive stomach, and this smoothie leans into that with almond milk instead of anything acidic like citrus juice. Banana adds body and a little natural sweetness, so the honey can stay optional rather than doing all the work. There's nothing here that needs chewing or heavy digesting, which is really the whole point of an ulcer-friendly drink like this one.

Blend it a touch longer if you want it extra smooth, and skip the ice if a very cold drink tends to bother your stomach.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup ripe papayapeeled, deseeded, cubed
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milkor coconut water for lighter version
  • 1 tbsp honeyoptional, natural sweetener
  • 1/2 small ripe bananaoptional, for creaminess
  • 2 –3 ice cubesoptional, for chill

Instructions
