Some snacks need a recipe card and some just need a bowl and five minutes — this is the second kind. Pumpkin seeds, almonds, and walnuts get tossed with a bit of cinnamon and dried cranberries for something sweet-salty and satisfying.

Seeds and nuts like these are a familiar staple in mental-health-focused nutrition, largely thanks to their magnesium content, and having a jar of this mixed up ahead of time makes it an easy grab when you want something more substantial than chips. Store it airtight at room temperature and it'll keep for a couple of weeks, ready whenever hunger hits between meals.
