Grilled Tilapia with Garlic & Lemon for High Blood Pressure

Tilapia fillets brushed with garlic, olive oil, and lemon, then grilled until flaky — a light, low-sodium dinner for blood pressure.

Ingredients

  • 2 tilapia fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika optional
  • Salt substitute or a small pinch of salt optional
  • Lemon wedges for serving
  • Fresh parsley or coriander for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush tilapia fillets with olive oil and lemon juice.
  3. Sprinkle minced garlic, black pepper, and paprika evenly over the fish.
  4. Grill tilapia for 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through and flaky.
  5. Remove from the grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley or coriander.
