Fertility Smoothie with Maca Root & Berries
A thick almond milk smoothie blended with maca powder, mixed berries, banana, and a spoonful of almond butter.

Everything goes into the blender at once, so this is one of those mornings-are-hectic recipes that still feels like you made an effort.
Maca root is a plant often used in smoothies marketed for hormonal balance, which is why it's featured here alongside fertility-supportive ingredients like chia seeds and a scoop of protein powder. Frozen banana keeps the texture thick and creamy without needing added ice.
Taste before serving and adjust the sweetness with a little extra honey or maple syrup if you'd like.
Maca has a slightly malty, earthy flavor, so starting with one tablespoon and adjusting up is a good approach if you're new to it. Keep extra almond milk nearby to thin the smoothie out if it blends up thicker than you'd like.
