Classic Cobb Salad with Grilled Chicken, Avocado & Egg
Rows of grilled chicken, hard-boiled egg, avocado, tomato, and turkey bacon over crisp romaine with a tangy Dijon dressing.
There's something satisfying about a proper Cobb salad — the neat rows of color, the mix of textures, the way every bite is a little different. This version keeps the classic lineup: grilled chicken, jammy hard-boiled eggs, ripe avocado, cherry tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese, and crisped turkey bacon, all fanned out over romaine.
Between the chicken, eggs, and cheese, this salad delivers a serious amount of protein per bowl, which makes it a solid choice on a training day or any time you want a meal that actually holds you over. We kept the dressing simple — just olive oil, red wine vinegar, and a spoonful of Dijon — so the ingredients themselves stay the star.
Assemble it right before eating so the romaine stays crisp.
