Green smoothies can be intimidating, but this one is genuinely mild — the banana and yogurt do most of the flavor work, and the spinach mostly just disappears into the color.

Greek yogurt brings a solid amount of protein to help with muscle recovery after training, while chia seeds add a little extra fiber and staying power. Spinach folds in some added nutrients without changing the taste much, making this an easy way to work greens into a post-workout routine.

Blend until fully smooth and drink it soon after your session for the best texture. A ripe, well-frozen banana makes the biggest difference in texture here, giving the smoothie a thick, almost soft-serve consistency without any added sweetener needed. Frozen spinach works in a pinch if fresh isn't on hand, and swapping in a plant-based yogurt keeps the smoothie dairy-free without losing much of its creaminess.
